Anna is a professor at the Geography Department in Trinity College Dublin and the Principal Investigator of CONSENSUS. She has worked in the area of environmental governance since 1994, has published more than 50 peer-reviewed books and articles and is an independent member of the National Economic and Social Council.

Frances is a lecturer in Environmental Geography at the National University of Ireland, Galway and leads CONSENSUS’s lifestyle and governance research. Dr Henrike Rau is a lecturer in Political Science and Sociology at NUIG specialising in environmental sociology and sustainability research. She leads CONSENSUS’s research on mobility practices. She has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, books and reports and leads the Socio-Economics and Policy pillar in the Ryan Institute. MORE

Ruth is a postoctoral researcher with CONSENSUS focusing on water, energy and backcasting research. She is currently a Visiting Scholar at Berkeley University and has research and consultancy experience in environmental governance, stakeholder engagement and environmental communications. MORE

Mary Jo is a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Geography & Archaeology at NUI, Galway. Her research explores attitudes and behaviours towards household consumption and lifestyles. Laura is a postdoctoral researcher working within the Geography Department of Trinity College Dublin. Laura completed her PhD “Governing food risk: regulation, communication and biosecurity” in 2012 and lectures on environmental governance. She works on issues of food consumption within CONSENSUS. Richard is a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Political Science & Sociology at NUIG. His research analyses mobility milestones and biographies to develop policy recommendations for sustainable mobility practices. MORE

Jessica conducted postdoctorate work with CONSENSUS Phase I focusing on food consumption and project management. She completed her PhD on water quality policy. Her main interests are environmental policy, sustainable development, implementation theories and international relations. MORE

Mike carried out research on ‘virtual mobility’ and teleworking as part of his PhD during CONSENSUS Phase I. His current research interests continue to critically evaluate sustainable transport, ecological modernisation, ICT and societal sustainability changes. He has a a BSc in Information Technology.
